Popularized in the cookware and gun industry for its durability, Teflon™, or Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE), has similar qualities to Cerakote but it cost less to produce. It is also mostly known for hardening and protecting metal from corrosion. In addition to that, it is a dust resistant coating, meaning it is very easy to clean (you chalk lovers will love it). 

The Bee Bar Teflon maintains all the features from the original Gorila Bee Bar. It combines a light-medium knurl pattern for just the right amount of grip with precision machined bar sleeves and shaft. It is made from high-quality alloy steel and tested for a consistent 180,000 PSI tensile strength. This attention to detail also allows for a great whip and a long-lasting all-around barbell.

The idea behind this beauty was to get a solid, cost-effective barbell ready for the unknown. We've carefully selected the materials and tested them against the day-to-day abuse of group classes and heavy training and it's proven to last. We understand Chinese products don't have the best reputation but when it comes to weightlifting equipment machinery and knowledge, nobody's half as qualified as our Chinese suppliers.

Sleeves rotate around high strength needle bearings for smooth rotation and everything is securely closed together with a double layer of half-moon washers and o-ring clips for a solid product that's easy to disassemble and clean.

*Warranty against bending does not cover any bar which has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage or handling by the user. Negligent or faulty use includes abusive dropping of the bar (i.e., dropping the bar on a box, bench, spotter arms or pins in a power rack, excessive dropping with insufficient or damaged bumpers, or excessive dropping with iron plates, and similar usage). Any specific issues regarding a Gorila product with which a customer is not satisfied will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We have found that most problems with bars we replace are related to abusive use rather than manufacturing or materials issues.
