Montreal Alouettes
Case Study
Montreal Alouettes
A fully customized underground performance gym built for professional athletes, designed to stay unseen and perform without compromise.
Summary
The Montreal Alouettes partnered with Gorila Fitness to design and build a fully customized two phase training facility located in a private basement environment.
The objective was to create a complete high performance gym that delivers everything professional athletes need while remaining discreet, compact, and highly efficient.
Gorila designed, fabricated, and installed a fully integrated strength and functional training space built for simplicity, durability, and performance. Every element was engineered to maximize training capacity within a constrained underground footprint.
The result is a complete “incognito” performance gym where athletes can train at a professional level in a controlled, private environment.
Challenge
Crew Performance Gym already had a strong identity and established training culture.
The challenge was to introduce new equipment without disrupting the visual consistency or workflow of the facility.
The space needed to deliver:
• Functional training capacity for group and individual sessions
• Clean equipment organization and storage
• A visual centerpiece that anchors the training zone
• Equipment finishes matching the gym’s all black and white aesthetic
Rather than installing generic equipment, the solution required custom fabrication that blended seamlessly into the environment.
Why Gorila Fitness
The project required building a complete performance gym inside a basement space with physical and logistical constraints.
The facility needed to deliver:
• A full strength and conditioning setup within a limited footprint
• Efficient use of space without sacrificing training quality
• Equipment that is simple, effective, and built for daily use
• A layout optimized for individual and small group sessions
• A discreet environment aligned with a private training setup
Unlike large scale team facilities, the challenge was to maximize performance within a compact, hidden environment.
