The Gorila KG Technique Olympic Plates were designed for skill work and children. It is the perfect transition tool for beginners and young athletes to develop their technique on Powerlifting or Olympic lifts. Matching IWF standard size, color and collar opening (50.4mm) for a secure and firm hold on any standard Olympic barbell.
Made from Polyolefin Elastomers, a recyclable synthetic polymer that is both UV resistant and Heavy Duty. The POE construction is so unique that it's currently only available in France. We've bought materials from France, shipped it to our supplier in China where quality was inspected by our agent before it was shipped to Canada where quality is checked again. When we say we're serious about quality we mean it.
Important: Keep in mind these are made from heavy duty composite but we do not recommend to drop from overhead.

Great Plates, worth the money
"I use the plates to raise the height for deadlifts when doing less than 135 LBS. My sister uses them for hip thrusts. They have been perfect for that but also are just really nice looking and well made. We haven't done anything crazy with them so I can't speak to that but I would say buy if you are on the fence."
