"Great product, considering that it is recycled and more of a "discount" product. I only purchased one mat; the thickness was quite close to 3/4", width was short by about 1/2", which is ~1% as specified. Maybe I got an older piece, but the smell was not as bad as some other reviewers have said. Gorila is the only supplier I could find that sells small numbers of these mats for home use with reasonable shipping."

first stall mat type flooring
"As the title states, this is the only stall mat type flooring I've ever ordered, so I don't have much to compare it to. I did some research online and this type seemed like the best option for gym flooring. Wherever you buy them from, the two main downsides are that they are stinky (at first) and heavy. Supposedly, higher-quality mats have less smell Gorila had the best price on shipping since I could not fit mats into my car for local pickup (would've been more to rent a van + local price on stall mats). The mat is sturdy and attractive, though it really does smell. I left it outside for 2 months in the summer (flipping once) and that made the smell indoors more acceptable. It doesn't smell anymore unless you stick your nose right up to it. The mat probably weighs about 100lbs"
