Each bracket measures 30 x 10 x 2.5 in and ties solidly into ceiling joists for a stable mount. An 8 in stand-off keeps the bar clear of the ceiling and works with a wide range of ceiling heights in garages, home gyms, and commercial facilities. For some structures, adding a wood backer panel is recommended.
