Introducing the Gorila Color Training Plates, the weightlifters choice. As seen in your wildest dreams, these plates feature IWF standard colors and a 450mm (17.71 inch) diameter, chrome-plated steel disc insert and a 50.4mm (1.98 inch) collar opening for a secure and firm hold on Olympic barbells.

Made with a tested Shore A durometer of 94, these plates minimize the bounce on the drop and won't break down with heavy use. Unlike lower quality plates that have higher weight tolerance (sometimes up to 10%), you can have confidence in the precision of our Training plates as they have a competition level weight tolerance of only +/- 15 grams.

When buying training bumper plates, be sure to look for Shore A Durometer reading as it tells you a lot about the quality of the plates. A higher reading of 90 or above ensures fewer or no air particles trapped in the plate, resulting in plates that won't crack over time and have a dead blow comparable to pricier comp plates on the market.

Additionally, steel inserts in these plates are less likely to loosen over time because they were highly compressed, which also allows you to put more plates on your barbell.
